What makes my paintings uNiqUe?
As a science educator and outdoor lover, I strive to incorporate natural materials, chunky texture, and donated paints/materials into my artwork. All of my paintings incorporate recycled coal ash embedded with carbon dioxide - often mixed with paint to make earthier tones or used in the background layer. I am always looking for new ways to incorporate recycled and natural materials into each unique piece.

First Book Reviews
"I took PJ to the ocean and my 3 little cousins read and loved it. Each page they pointed out a little unique detail somewhere in the illustrations. They loved all the characters, but Dr. Croissant was my favorite! This is a book to read again as the lesson of “be you,” like PJ’s favorite book, is one to come back to. Well done by this author and illustrator!"

I bought this for my son just because it seemed cute. Turns out, after a eye doc appt. a few weeks later, he actually needed glasses, and this book was PERFECT for helping him get more comfortable with the idea of having glasses so that when they came in the mail he was excited. Highly recommend the book, whether your kid has glasses or not.

Teacher-mom here! You know how kids are just drawn to some books? This is one! I can’t tell if it’s the relatable character and storyline or the humor in the illustrations or the just-right readability that blends high-frequency words with rich and robust vocabulary—but, our 7 year old is captivated by it.
